John Mayer may be one of my all time favorite artists because his songs have such deep meaning to them and they are all so catchy. Also he has such a unique voice and he is very attractive so that helps him a lot too! This song is about a man who had his heart broken and he talks about how hard it is when you are dreaming with your heart broken and you wake up and the sadness of realizing it was only a dream. He says he wakes up and wonders was she really here? Will she wake up by his side? But then he realizes no, because she is gone. This song can relate to a lot of people out there not only guys but girls too. This is not the only song of his that people could relate to; all of his songs are very relatable and very good.
